Since Noclipped is a survival game, it needs to have a progression. And since finding a door that says “EXIT” is boring gameplay, I came up with a much different progression to any other Backrooms game
The player starts at a random room of the Backrooms YellowSpace - the spawnpoint of the Backrooms. The player is confused, learning about moving around and interacting with the world.
First things first - the player must secure their survival. This will require:
To do so in YellowSpace the player must complete multiple lines of progression, or rely on loot
First, the player must find a hole in the wallpaper, revealing plaster. Then the player breaks off a piece of plaster, getting a very bad weapon. The player must use this piece of plaster to cut off a piece of wallpaper and then craft it into a bowl - the earliest liquid container. After that the player must find a broken ceiling tile and use the bowl to collect the dripping water - murky water. It’s drinkable but drinking more than 1L in a period of 2 minutes will roll for a Waterborne Disease Health/Effect/Disease system [REWORK PLAN]
There are some common sources of water among the indoor biomes of the Backrooms:
Food in YellowSpace is much easier to find than water - the player may find clusters of mushrooms growing in some corners of YellowSpace. They can collect a mushroom from this cluster. They may get multiple mushrooms if they break the cluster with a piece of plaster. The player must be careful to not eat rotten mushrooms.
While in YellowSpace the food is very specific, there are some universal sources of food around many places of the backrooms:
